As the workforce development arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), HBI’s mission is to serve the workforce development needs of NAHB, its members and the entire federation.
Working through and with state and local HBAs, HBI seeks to advance and enrich the education, training and placement of men and women in careers serving the workforce needs of the residential building industry.

HBI seeks experienced workers from the home building industry to volunteer as mentors for youth in 28 cities in 11 southern states. HBI’s C-CORE program matches teens ages 16-18 with adult mentors from any facet of the home building industry who encourage them to consider careers in home building and coach them toward success. » READ MORE
