Support Our Future
Sustain the development of the home building industry’s workforce by contributing to the National Housing Endowment’s “Support Our Future” online fundraising campaign.
Your donation to the “Support Our Future” campaign will go directly to the NAHB Student Chapters and the Homebuilding Education Leadership Education Program (HELP), which work hand-in-hand to provide a well-rounded construction education for the home building industry’s future employees. Donation levels range from $25 to $200 and are processed through a convenient online form.
The NAHB Student Chapters program, administered by the Home Builders Institute (HBI), allows more than 4,000 students studying construction-related careers at 150 chapters at high schools and two-year and four-year colleges to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-world experiences through NAHB membership. Activities include the annual Residential Construction Management Competition at the International Builders Show (IBS), where students present a comprehensive business and construction plan for a real-life residential project.
HELP is the cornerstone of the Endowment’s educational efforts. The HELP initiative awards major grants to two-year and four-year colleges and universities across the country to establish or improve their residential construction management programs in an effort to increase the number of qualified college graduates entering the home building field.
Ensure that future residential construction managers have the in-classroom education and out-of-classroom experience they need to be prepared when your local home builders hire them by giving your gift today: http://bit.ly/supportourfuture.
