National, state and local partners help HBI prepare America’s skilled residential construction workforce.

These partners include the U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Education; NAHB and local home builders associations; state and local governments; two-year and four-year colleges and universities; local school systems, workforce investment boards and housing authorities; unions; non-profit organizations; and corporations and small businesses around the country.

The Home Building Industry: HBI is the workforce development arm of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), a federation of more than 800 state and local home builder’s associations representing more than 160,000 members from the home building industry.

HBI SEEKS MENTORS

HBI seeks experienced workers from the home building industry to volunteer as mentors for youth in 28 cities in 11 southern states. HBI’s C-CORE program matches teens ages 16-18 with adult mentors from any facet of the home building industry who encourage them to consider careers in home building and coach them toward success.  » READ MORE
