Mark CTE Month With Certification, Career Exploration

Celebrate Career and Technical Education Month by considering an HBI/NAHB industry certification for residential construction through HBI.

HBI offers residential construction trades students and instructors the opportunity to certify that their home building trades knowledge is in line with the industry’s National Construction Skills Standards and NAHB Green Building Standard through online courses offered in partnership with NOCTI and The Ohio State University.

Are you a student just starting to consider a career in home building? The Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts the creation of 1.8 million construction jobs in the next few years.

HBI’s Career Services can help you learn more about the more than 200 careers available in the construction industry, make make informed career decisions and set realistic career goals by knowing the education and training needs of employers in the home building industry, matching your unique talents and interests to the right job, and recognizing just what it takes to be marketable in the industry once you graduate.
