HBI Career Services helps elementary, middle, high school and post-secondary students become excited and knowledgeable about the residential construction industry and the myriad of career opportunities it offers.  Through HBI Career Services, young people and others interested in the home building industry can access career-related industry information, so they can:

  • Understand the dynamics of the home building industry so they can make informed career decisions.
  • Know the education and training needs of employers in the home building industry.
  • Match their unique talents, skills, interests and personalities to appropriate jobs to discover the utmost in career satisfaction.
  • Become more aware of what it means to be marketable upon graduation.
  • Make informed career decisions and set realistic career goals.

HBI SEEKS MENTORS

HBI seeks experienced workers from the home building industry to volunteer as mentors for youth in 28 cities in 11 southern states. HBI’s C-CORE program matches teens ages 16-18 with adult mentors from any facet of the home building industry who encourage them to consider careers in home building and coach them toward success.  » READ MORE
