HBI partners with several educational organizations to bring quality construction education into the classroom. 

HBI’s model Building Today's Workforce for Tomorrow program brings together K-12 schools, community colleges businesses, and other members of the community. The program is funded by  the U.S. Department of Labor under the President’s High Growth Industry Job Training initiative.

HBI's Career Services department provides resources for students, parents, educators and industry representatives to find career opportunities and sample programs that promote and support partnerships with schools, parents businesses, and other members of the community.

HBI teamed up with Thomson/Delamar Learning to create the Residential Construction Academy series of texts. The RCA provides credentialed trades training to students in high schools, post-secondary schools and other higher educational instutitions.
